DTAC announces the resignation of Co-CEO, Mr. Sigve Brekke

Bangkok--Jan 5--DTAC The Chairman of Total Access Communication Plc. (“DTAC”), Mr. Boonchai Bencharongkul today announced that Mr Sigve Brekke has delivered his resignation as Director and Co-CEO effective as of January 13th 2005. Mr. Boonchai Bencharongkul said he regrets Mr. Brekke’s resignation and thanked him for his outstanding service to the company for many years. Mr. Brekke has served the company as Director since 29 September 2000 and as Co-CEO from 18 November 2002. As Co-CEO together with Mr. Vichai Bencharongkul, the company’s subscriber base has increased by 45% over the past 2 years and the company has more than doubled its net profit to THB 3,400 million for the first 9 months of 2004 . Through successful organizational changes, communication and marketing efforts the company’s image and performance have improved significantly under the management team led by the two Co-CEOs. Mr. Boonchai Bencharongkul informed that the Board of Directors will appoint a new Co-CEO as well as a new Director to replace Mr. Brekke.
